Monroe County Schools of Choice

The Monroe County Schools of Choice enrollment period has opened for the 2026-27 school year. Airport Community Schools is accepting students entering kindergarten and grades 9-12. Students in grades 1-8 will be placed on a waitlist. If the number of applicants exceeds the available enrollment opportunities, then those applications may be selected for admission using a random selection process.

Applications are due May 29, 2026 to the Superintendent's Office, located at your resident district.

About Monroe County Schools of Choice

The Monroe County Schools of Choice Program is offered by the Monroe County Intermediate School District in cooperation with its local districts. This program allows parents and students the choice to attend any public school in Monroe County, as determined by space available.

105C SCHOOLS OF CHOICE (Out of County - Washtenaw, Wayne or Lenawee)

The 105c Schools of Choice enrollment period has opened for the 2026-27 school year. Airport Community Schools is accepting students entering kindergarten and grades 9-12. Students in grades 1-8 will be placed on a waitlist. If the number of applicants exceeds the available enrollment opportunities, then those applications may be selected for admission using a random selection process.

Applications are due by the end of the first week of the school year to the Superintendent's Office, located in Wagar Middle & Junior High School, 11270 Grafton Rd., Carleton.

Airport Community Schools is accepting 105C School of Choice applications for students residing in Washtenaw, Wayne and Lenawee Counties (Out of County Districts contiguous to the Monroe County Intermediate School District).

Please complete an Intra-District Building of Choice form to request the elementary building you would like your student to attend. All applications will be considered following the Intra-District Schools of Choice Policy.
