Student Registration

Thank you for choosing Airport Community Schools. We are glad you are here! The Airport Community Schools district is proud to offer high quality programs and opportunities for all students. We are here to help you through the enrollment process and welcome you to our learning community.

Follow the steps below to begin your new student's registration. For more information about getting your child ready for kindergarten, along with answers to some frequently asked questions, check out this resource.

If you are applying for out of district School of Choice, please also visit the Schools of Choice page. Forms for the 2024-25 school year will be available after April 1.

2. After Pre-Enrollment Form

The Registrar must approve your student's pre-enrollment before you may proceed with registration.

Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to finalize your student's enrollment online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Please note that the following items are required to complete the registration process.

All enrolling students must provide:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Immunization Records

  • Drivers License (parent/guardian)

  • 2 Proofs of Residency (see below)

Students may also be required to provide:

  • Completed Hearing & Vision Screening (incoming Young 5s or Kindergarten)

  • Completed Oral Health Assessment (incoming Young 5s or Kindergarten)

  • Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan (if applicable)

  • Custody paperwork (if applicable)

  • High School Transcript (grades 9-12)

Residency

All enrolling students must provide two acceptable proofs of residency.

Acceptable Proofs of Residency include:

  • Driver's license (current address)
  • Voter Registration Card
  • Mortgage statement or completed lease/rental agreement
  • Electric, gas, water, cable, property tax or other utility bill (pictures of envelope not accepted)

If you are not the homeowner, you must provide:

  • A notarized copy of a Residency Affidavit (request document through Registrar)
  • Provide 2 proofs of residency (in homeowner's name)
3. The Final Step

Your student will not receive his or her building assignment until his or her registration is complete.

Once registration is finalized, his or her school building, homeroom teacher, bus information and other details will be available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Elementary Building Secretary (after pre-enrollment is approved)
