Preschool/Kindergarten Bus Riders

AM Bus Protocol for Preschool/Kindergarten

  • For the safety and wellbeing of Preschool and Kindergarten students, it is the policy of Airport Community Schools and First Student that a parent, guardian or adult babysitter is present at the student's assigned bus stop during pick up.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to the bus stop.

  • A parent, guardian or adult babysitter must accompany the child to the bus stop. Siblings age 12 or younger may not walk the child to the bus stop.

  • If you have a door to door stop, you will need to walk your child to the road to be put on the bus.

  • Instruct your child to stay 6-feet away from the road and wait for the bus driver to signal them to cross the street.

PM Bus Protocol for Preschool/Kindergarten

  • For the safety and wellbeing of Preschool and Kindergarten students, it is the policy of Airport Community Schools and First Student that a parent, guardian or adult babysitter is present at the student's assigned bus stop during drop off.

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to the bus stop.

  • If you have a door to door stop, you will need to be at the road to receive your child from the bus.

  • If the parent, guardian or adult babysitter is not at the bus stop at the time of drop off, the student will be brought back to the Transportation Office. Only those listed on the student's emergency card will be allowed to pick up the child. The student will not be released until you have signed your child out with a photo ID.
