• Arrive 10 minutes early.

Students should be at the bus stop 10 minutes before their scheduled pick up time. Students should not be running from cars or homes to catch the bus. A student's designated bus stop is the only bus that child may ride, unless a bus exception was called in to the transportation office and approved.

• Park at a safe distance at satellite stops.

We understand that you may drive your child to a satellite stop. Please park far enough away to give the bus room to arrive safely with an unobstructed view of the bus stop. Smaller students may be challenging to see in between vehicles which creates an unsafe environment for students.

• Drive your child to school if he or she misses the bus.

If your child misses the bus, please do not drive to another bus stop or follow behind the bus. This is dangerous, and the driver may not see them. Please drive your child to school if the bus is missed.

• Call the Transportation Department with questions.

If you have questions about the bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 734-654-3433. Only students may board the bus for safety reasons. Drivers are trained to close the doors to anyone who is no authorized to board the bus and cannot have lengthy conversations at the bus stop.
